American Heart Association (AHA) Training
Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital is one of the largest American Heart Association (AHA) training centers in the state of Michigan. We offer all courses through the AHA, including how to respond to a heart attack, lifestyle improvements for heart health, and much more.
Safe Sitter Program
This is an up-to-date and well-rounded youth development program with a medical basis, which teaches young teen babysitters everything they need to know to keep themselves and the children in their care safe.
This nationally recognized, pediatrician-developed program includes:
- Childcare techniques
- Basic first aid
- Rescue techniques for choking infants
- Child rescue techniques
- CPR
- Babysitting as a business
- Online and cell phone safety
The Safe Sitter Program is recommended for young teens 11+.
