Dr. Erich Smith earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, where he conducted research in pediatric emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Michigan Hospital, training in a broad range of imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.

In addition to his general radiology expertise, Dr. Smith performs minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. He also serves as a clinical educator at Michigan State University, helping train the next generation of physicians.
