Generally speaking, everybody should have a family medicine provider to assist them with common medical issues throughout their lives.

In particular, children and the elderly should ensure they are meeting with their family medicine practitioners regularly to monitor their overall health with respect to their age brackets. This can include developmental monitoring and vaccinations for younger patients, changing dietary requirements, or managing arthritis for seniors.
